Summer is right around the corner and The Makers Club has you covered!
The Makers Club will be open Monday through Friday from 7am - 6pm for our school-age, summer camp students. We offer two scheduled field trips per week - on Tuesday and Friday (except for the Mariners game field trip which is on a Wednesday). We will often take additional field trips during the week to beaches, wading pools & Discovery Park. You will be notified, at minimum, the evening before if we plan to take an additional field trip.
To make for a smooth transition each morning, please drop your child off no later than 9am. On field trip days, we will typically depart The Makers Club by 9:30am and return between 3-3:30pm. Pick up may happen any time after 3:30pm. You will be notified via Brightwheel any time your child leaves The Makers Club, and we will update Brightwheel throughout the day with photos and videos of your child!
We provide breakfast until 9am, a mid-morning snack and an afternoon snack. Please provide your child with a healthy lunch each day.

While we strive to stay on the above schedule, field trips may change due to weather, staffing, children in attendance & children’s interests.
For rainy/smoky days, we will still take a field trip, but will change it to a field trip indoors if necessary, at no extra cost to you. In the past, this has been to PlayDate SEA, a bouncy house, a community center gym etc.
The cost for summer camp is $280/week. (roughly $7/hr for an average 8 hour day). This tuition includes breakfast, two snacks, all costs associated with field trips & transportation, and all art materials. Summer Camps are weekly commitments, meaning we are not able to offer pricing for half-days or half-weeks; parents are required to pay the weekly fee regardless of how many days you choose for your child to attend.
We send out summer invoices as we do for tuition during the school year; two weeks before the 1st of the month, however tuition is not due until the 1st of every month. For instance, the last week of June will be billed on May 15th, July’s tuition will be billed on June 15th, and August’s tuition will be billed on July 15th. A deposit equal to 25% of your child’s summer registration is due upon sign up. This deposit is applied to your child’s monthly tuition. (Example: You sign your child up for four weeks in July, totaling $1,120. A 25% deposit is due with registration, equaling $280. When we bill for July on June 15th, the invoice will be for the remaining amount of $840.)
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Written notification of cancellation is required in order to receive a deposit refund.
Written notice of cancellation received prior to May 1st - 100% deposit refund
Written notice of cancellation received after May 1st but prior to June 1st - forfeit 50% of deposit.
Written notice of cancellation received after June 1st - forfeit 100% of deposit
